What would happen to President Bush's approval rating if there was a terrorist attack on US soil?

It would sky rocket back to wear it once was. Though the far left would spin it into an outcome of us being in Iraq.
The once loyal would return but the far left only understands one thing, Their thirst for power!!!

Why this preoccupation with approval ratings? Nothing can be done to or for him if it is high or low. It is just a figure that is arrived at by biased polling.
Interview a bunch of Liberals you get a bad approval rating.
Interview a bunch of Conservatives, you get a good approval rating.
Approval ratings are only fodder for newscasters and talking heads.
I believe you could look back and find that no president has ever made a decision based on approval ratings.
And to be even more frank, the people of the country do not even know enough to make a sound judgment on the President, unless they heard Oprah, M&M or Jay Leno say something about it.
Sorry, I got on a soapbox and I tend to ridicule those who do.

I would hope you, would put the blame where it belongs with Bill Clinton's refusal to take Ben Lodum when the terrorist leader was offered to him, and if memory serves I think it was the Turkist government.. I know the people would blame President Bush. even though he has did a good job of keeping our country safe since 911. If Hillary becomes President. We will surely be attacked. It will increase there effort to think that lowly women could run a country. They would have to put a stop to such a government.

Many Bush supporters are holding on to this motto:
Its better to have our troops fighting and dying to keep the terrorists over in Iraq than to have them coming and attacking here.

If there was another attack here in America, that support base would collapse and the only ones left supporting it would be elite corprorate interests.

It would be a complete disaster for him, and for America as well.

I pray we never have to see that day - but his blunders have made America weaker - not stronger and thanks to this immoral and false war, there are about 5 million new recruits for the terror cells.

They would drop to 5%. The only, I repeat the only thing that has saved this man's *** thus far is the fact that we haven't had a terrorist attack since 911.
It looks like he is going to luck out and get out of office before the next big one happens and then that will be the fault of the next president. He makes no bones about leaving alot of his trash behind for the next president to deal with.
With his border policy and his lust to allow Saudi's into our country and to control our ports etc... it is simply God's will that we haven't been hit again. He's truely lucky in this respect.

However, in israel his approval rating will shoot to 100 % (Well, it is almost to that number there now anyway) and they will encourage him to attack Iran.
