Just be their for him and tell him that what is going on between his parents may be upsetting but there is nothinhg he can do, and he should try not letting what happens between his parents affect him to much just make sure what ever the situation is that, that he looks after himself and try not to hold grudges towards either parents however the situation because children tend to not know the whole story, and also make sure he prevents his parents from using him emotionally because some parents do that to there children.

Nothing you can do but listen if he wants to talk about it, my parents got divorced a long time ago, it really isn't that big a deal anymore.

Just tell you are sorry about his parents and that you are there for him. Not much else you can do except be there as a friend and listen to him if he needs to talk.

Don't question him, let him come to you...or you can tell him that you are always willing to listen if he needs to talk. And if he does come to you, really listen, and try not to say you know how he feels, because no one does and he knows that. Good luck, you sound like a great friend!

When my dad got divorced i was four but i remember wanting to be left alon. Let him know your concerned then back away to let him gain hold of his emotions. He'll talk when ready.

Just be his friend, Listen to him. He probably needs to have someone to talk to. Do not be judgemental, or make any comments against his parents...just listen and let him know that you are there for him.

well there is nothing you can really do about your friend parents but you really need to support your friend if he/she is very upset, See why they are getting a divorce, and maybe you can solve it but your just gonna have to do everything you can.
