I am a retired CFO and my nicknames at work were Zinger and Drive-by E-mail because I let people have both barrels. At times my job sucked because I had to get people to tow the line. Well, the procrastinators were toast. My e-mails became an art form and it brought a smile to many an employee. The truth is painful and so much fun.

I got mine cos I grew up in Australia. Kinda. I was in the sea cadets and couldn't yell like a man so some guy started calling me squeaky. Someone misheard it and thought it was Skippy because I'm Aussie and it stuck. When I'm in the pub I introduce myself to everyone as Skippy cos its' the funnest part of my personality.

If you mean my yahoo name, it means that I love books!
If you mean the nickname that people call me, it's just a shortened version of my whole name.
