While the etiquette books insist there's only one President and that the formers shouldn't use the title, the fact remains that the White House and most real people use the title in addressing a former president.

What I think would be cool is a White House dinner invitation. While it obviously hasn't been done, I think it would open with

"The President of the United States and President Clinton invite you to..."

It would be a first for our country! Bill Clinton will always be Mr. President and will always be superior to "First Gentleman"!

All though I think Bill Clinton was one of the greatest president's in U.S. history, I think we all can agree, Bill aint no gentleman!

That would be like calling Paris Hilton the first lady.

we could call Bill the first scoundrel or the first whore master or even the first keeper of the interns, I personally would just prefer to call him Bubba.

Why not? First lady was superior to Mr. President while Bill Reaped the benefit's of the Republican tough decisions throughout the 80's.

Mr. President is a powerful title.

First Gentleman is not.

Even if HRC is elected, it will still be Mr. President. :-)
