Mexico City. It is the largest city in the world. It is full of Pre Colombian History, and moder history as well. Great artwork by great artists. Foods that ignite the pallat. The people are warm and friendly.
Artist include: Diego Rivera, Frida Khalo.
Bellas Artes containing many of Rivera's paintings and others from around the world.
There are the pyramids of Teotihaucan less than an hour from the city center.
Xochimilco, the floating gardens, a must see.
Cuernavaca is about 1.5 hours from the city. It is like a garden of eden with spring like temperatures year round.
The night live is great and fun.
There are many things to do here. It all just depends upon what your interests are.
Yes there are many reasons not to visit Mexico City. However climbing the pyramid of the SUN to the top certainly outweighs any of these reasons.
Until you visit you just won't know if you like it or not.

These two cities are both totally different and obviously have good and bad points. Its like comparing Johannesburg and London. So on a personal level only, Mexico City, why? Cause its so loco its cool.

My dad went to mexico city and he said that it was realy dirty and smelled like sewers backed up. I would say madrid but i have never personally been

mexico city is over populated and polluted. i'd go with madrid.

Mexico City... it's more vibrant, the people are friendlier, the food is better, it's safer...

Im mexican, and i would say, MADRID....or choose another mexican city, like acapulco, or cabo san lucas.....mexico city is ugly like ***, ....well to me anyways.........
