Because in a woman's eye (looking in the full length mirror as we do) shoes can either make or break an outfit.
If our shoes make our clothes look good, we're least likely to ask you if our butt looks big in that outfit.

I've often wondered the same thing. I'm female and I'm not crazy about shoes. I think I have about five or six pairs.

i am not crazy about shoes, they are okay. i would rather use my money to go on vacation or do something then have tons of shoes. i dont wear beat up shoes or anything but theres no need to have hundreds of expensive ones.

I guess its because all women need to coordinate everything they wear. I love shoes but i don't have like nine million pairs, but if i could have a bunch of shoes....heehee i would defientely get like a lot! they're just so cute and irresistable! :-)

I'm not, but my daughter is. I think its because we have a variety of outfit types and you have to have a certain shoe with each. Like, you can't wear sneakers with a dress, or heels with shorts, unless you wanna look trampy.

I am a shoe fanatic myself, whatever is hot, I am so on it. I have over 100 pairs of shoes in my home ( two closets occupy them) They can make or break your outfit, they can make you feel sexy, fun, frisky, they can make you taller than you already are, or just plain comfortable. I know a guy who owns alot of sneakers, so I guess that it's not only us that adore shoes! LOL

I think it is because they are an extension of our leg. If someone notices the shoes, they will probably look on up!
