The Port is located in Downtown Miami. From I-95 you will want to exit onto I-395 headed towards "Miami Beach" (East). Exit and follow the signs to US-1 (Biscayne Blvd.). Turn right (South) on Biscayne Blvd. Turn left (East) on 5th Street (Port Blvd.). From there, follow the signs for parking and the port facilities.
Doral is about 11 miles west of the Port

Nowhere near it. Doral is west of Miami Int. Airport. But you can take the East-West Expressway east to I-95 & then South to the Port exit.

Not even close. You can get a cab to get you there but I don't even want to speculate how much that ride would cost you.
