Is the price too much, is it the fact that many are overheating and having technical problems, do you just not need a $600 video game system.

I really just wasn't that impressed. The graphics aren't that superior to the 360 from what they've shown so far. I play Wii all the time and w/the 360 I get a good gaming experience. 2 systems for the price of one. Sony is trippin'!

Price is way too much, yes they are having a lot of problems, and Blue Ray is only used by Sony, making it...well, worthless. There are already HD DVDs out there that aren't blue ray. But the biggest reason of all is that when you look at it compared to the Wii, the only edge the PS3 has is graphics, which isn't enough of a reason to buy it. The Wii has much better controls, much more diverse a system, and is something that I as a gamer could enjoy, but so could any kid that's three year old, a truly difficult diverse market to create.

The price. The lack of availabilty. Also that they are claiming it isn't just a gaming system. It is a gaming system but they don't seem to want that to be the focus except when they are selling it.

I didn't buy one because I can't afford one and because I don't know what sony was thinking trying to compete against the fantastic magic wands that come with the nintendo wii wii, even though the graphics are crappy and the games aren't all that fun.

there is only one or two games worth buying. why pay 600 bucks if the thing is just going to sit unused?
