Anybody know the statute of limitations on filing a lawsuit against a company, because of an on duty store employee attacking you in the store?

Each state has a specific law concerning the "assault" upon an individual. There are different "degrees" of assault. If the "assault" is of a misdemeanor stage....then you have up to one year to file a complaint criminally. With felony assault you have up to three years to file a criminal complaint.

After reading your question, it seems you wish to file a "civil suit" which would be in your best interest to contact an attorney!

Sorry, I don't. Maybe you could ook it up on your state's website? or just call a lawyer.....or find a free one somehow.
