This is the situation.. I have a boyfriend whom doesn't work but he goes to school. The problem is that he isn't doing good in school. I'm trying to help him out but he says that school is just not for him. He wants to be a cop, problem is that to be a cop you have to have at least 60 college credits and a GPA of 2.0 or higher. He only has 20 credits and his GPA is 1.4 This is why I want to help him out. Another thing is that I am the one who works and at the end pays for everything. I really want him to get a job and he says that he wants one too. So yesterday I was looking for an office job for him, and I started sending emails for interviews. When I told him about it, he was a bit upset because he "doesn't want a boring job." He wants to work in a clothig store. Ahhhhh this is getting me a bit frustrated because I'm thinking about the future and it seems like he isn't. Although it seems like he is because he talks about us and stuff, but his actions show otherwise. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

tell him that he needs to focus on school if he wants to be a cop. if he wants to work outside, then maybe he can look into a trade school for construction work, plumbing, electrical work. just tell him without the education..he is going nowhere fast. too many people in America losing their jobs now a days to people all over the world, who have educations. if he wants I am on Yahoo and he can come and chat with me. screen name is edf253

Break-time..!!! ship up or ship out.. you are his girlfriemd not his mother.. carry on with your life.. get your business together.. he'll either get "a" job or finish school like a man.. once he sees your focus is no longer taking care of him.. he'll call the "y ou dont care anymore phone" but your response will be no "Boo I do care enough about us to know it isnt all about you!!" tell him girl!

me years to find that out and believe it is the truth do you

Are you his mother? Please stop acting like you are. This guy has no ambition, and you can't make him have it. This is someone who will mooch off of a woman that works and do only what he wants to do......... You need a bf who is like you and has the ambition to make something of himself.
