Sorry, some of the things that get said on here, really bother me, people give advice when they truly know nothing about what they are saying. First off, just because you had a period does not mean that you are ovulating. Many people have regular periods and never ovulate (not saying this is your case by any means).
It can take a while for your cycles to become normal after being on the Depo shots. For me, I didn't start to cycle for well over 8 months. Some people still cycle while on the shots, but just have lighter periods. Some people will return to regular cycles with in a month or two, others may not return for a year or more. Each person is different.
If you want to actually determine what your body is doing, so you can become pregnant, you might want to get things ready to start charting so you can begin planing baby making sex once your cycles do start to become regular. You will not know if you are ovulating, etc. until you begin to monitor your cycles.
Hope that helps, if you want to know more, check out the link below and drop me a line.

You could be pregnant. Take a test to see if you are or not.
I was on the depo shot for 3 years and once i stopped taking it i became pregnant 11 months later.
Depo-Provera is not a good choice if you want to be pregnant in the next year or two. Why? Because it typically takes 9 to 10 months to become pregnant after you stop taking Depo-Provera as a contraceptive. It could even take up to 24 months after discontinuing use of Depo-Provera for you to become pregnant. The length of time you use Depo-Provera has no effect on how long it takes you to become pregnant.

It takes time for the Depo to get out of your system, but if you had a period, you did ovulate. Since your cycles are out of whack right now, you really don't know when you could ovulate, so it's possible you're pregnant, or you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex. You should take a pregnancy test and if it's negative, get on reliable birth control.

I don't think there is any real time period, I've hear it could take up to 5 years. My daughter was on the shots for less than a yr. and got pregnant just 4 or 5 months after the last shot. They are suppose to work for 3 months.
So, yes you could be pregnant! Take a test!

Only a doctor or a good pregnancy test could answer that question. The Depo could have already left your system. It is known to do that sometimes. And if you don't want a child right now then DON'T HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX!

The mere fact that you've had had your period means you've started ovulating again...Having unprotected sex therefore may indeed lead you to having a baby. So, if you can't be good, be safe....
