Warnock's a great player, I'm sorry to see him leave Liverpool. I think he'll be a good purchase for Blackburn.
I was not too keen on Neill going to Liverpool in the first place so we'll never know if it would have been a good move. If West Ham get relegated, then he may well regret his decision, though!

Lucas Neil say's it's not about money.

Bullshit, Liverpool offered him the chance of Champions League football, yet he has gone to West Ham United, who are going to be involved in a relegation battle.

I find it very strange that West Ham have even offered him £70.000 a week, he ain't in that salary wage class, football has gone mad.

Warnock is a championship player at best, Blackburn Rovers have clearly lost out bug time here.

I think his decision to go West Ham is not bad because looking at his age (28) and from what he said - that Liverpool wanted him but they were not pushing that much to secure his signature is bad sign for any football player. In other words you are not going to be guarantee a first team football, which for a player like Neil is not good.
I also don't think he will live to regret it - football this days is all about money and at 28 years of age this might just be his best and last chance to amass fortune out of the game.I wish him well

Yeah, it probably has a lot to do with money.

It also has a lot to do with the that fact that at Liverpool he would sit on the bench and at West Ham he well become an important first teamer.

But, its probably more about the money.

Maybe he has some sort of relegation clause in his contract, who knows?

Hes a good player and as he is young, i think you got a bargain. And neil turned down champions league football to take part in a relegation dogfight? It had to be for the money.

u won't blame him he said it's not about money but a lot of people are saying that, what of the opportunity of playing CL even if he can't play FA cup and Carling Cup, he probably wanted West Ham bcos of higher no of games he would play, he might help West Ham , cole is doing his own best.
