Hi

(1) Yes!! you can still consider Cruise Vacation. The activities found onboard a cruise ship will vary from ship to ship, but many cruise ships have a number of activities and services/facilities in common. There are childcare center on cruise ship and you should feel comfortable leaving your child in the care of a cruise ship childcare worker who are often closely monitored, highly educated, and properly trained.

Go to a bed & breakfast together for a romantic weekend. Try Grove Park Inn off the Blue Ridge Parkway outside of Asheville, NC, they have kids programs and a spa for you two adults! I know kids under 16 stay free.

Here is some info from thew website:

"Children’s Programs
Supervised by qualified staff, these programs for kids ages 3-12 are packed with fun. Pre-registration is required; call 828-252-2711, ext. 1046, to register.

Cub’s Adventure Camp: Activities at this day camp include nature hikes, swimming, lawn games, arts and crafts and team competitions. Kids can be signed up for a full day ($55) or a half day ($30 - $40). "

You could try to find separate babysitters. One to take the older children one to take the baby. Maybe a relative or two. If not, you can turn your bedroom into a resort. Or atleast a temporary one. It is not hard to do. There are many sites you can find to help you with ideas. There may be sites as well of resorts with good child care depending on where you want to go.
