I dont know if you can get lighter skin but you can try to lighten up certain features. The best way to do that is to use a highlight on you upper cheek bones, eyebrow bones, and down along you nose or on the apples on your cheeks.Theres a couple lines with highlight cremes or powders but i use a covergirl blush thats a light pink and shimmery it gives the skin a more glowing and brighter appearance i get compliments on it daily.and its not as expensive. the blush is called "instant cheekbones" by covergirl or theres also an eyeshadow called "champagne" thats great too by covergirl.

Iightening is not necesarily what you think u need i dont think. At the moment, a lot of companies are launching "whitening products" but they dont really lighten that much, but I must say they can brighten your skin and even out the tone if you have dark areas, there is a chemical that controls melanin production in the skin.

a top selling one is CARRARA COLLECTION: Intense Whitening
Serum

The reviews are excellent!!

Toushka

You can't change the levels of melanin in your body, as this is determined by genetics. However, use lots of sunblock when you're outside, especially during peak times of day during the seasons. Yes, even during the winter there are UV rays about, and you can get a sunburn. Other than that, stay covered when you're in the sun. That's about all you can do.

Be proud of your skin tone.I'm so tired of people saying they want to change their skin color.Do you want to end up looking like Micheal Jackson?I am white and pay alot of money at tanning booths to get that nice tan look which you have naturally.Be proud.

Please just work what you got! Confidence gives you your color- and lack of it just makes you blah.
