This is mentioned in Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy/Metallica) and Molly's Chamber by Kings of Leon. What's the significance/background?

Whiskey in the jar is an Irish folk song from way back and Lizzie rocked it up----------------hence rooms were refered to chambers in those days. As far as KOL are concerned, anyone who has listened to their lyrics in general, would expect the brothers to use a very quaint turn of phrase

Molly (or Jenny in the old Irish version) is the girl, and the chamber is her room. I think.

It's a double entendre...... Molly's bedroom, but also could be taken to be a part of her anatomy.

"But me, I like sleeping, especially in Molly's chamber".

I don't think he means actually sleeping!
