Borat movie...did some ppl know it was a movie he was filming for?

for instance the rodeo scene...what thecowboy was saying about arabs....did pamela know and expect the scene.....i think they had to tell ppl in advance and then some scenes like the naked hotel lobby were real but some just couldn't have been...what do you think......has anyon heard of the making of this movie.....had anyone heard about it while it was being filmed...surely some scenes would have made the local news like the real estate seminar..

Everyone who was involved (frat boys, ettiquette people) in it was told it was going to be shown in kazakhstan. which is why they were so upset it was shown in the united states.

"Borat" and his crew were apparently arrested, or had the police called on them on approximately 60 occassions from various reports. Cohen stayed in character as Borat all of the time during these incidents.

Some scenes in the film were obviously staged, others were not. Once again I have heard that Pamela Anderson was aware of the kidnapping (Choen and Anderson are friends) but obviously the security and fans were not in on the prank.

i read an interview about that. Pam anderson was in the know about it, she was scripted in the movie. Other people did not know and some knew they were filming but thougt it was for different things other than a comedy movie

It was filmed and acting. The parts that were real were mostly people getting drunk and proably knew what was going on.
