the skirt is long with a minimal slit and the boots are conservative, knee length and heel is maybe 2 inches or 1 1/2, i could wear boots once i got the job. this question is also under fashion so you can answer again. wasnt sure of how many people would be here to answer. i am interviewing for a secretarial position.

Yes, dress appropriatley for the job type (wool suit - very nice). The shoes will probally never be noticed unless they are a hideous style or color. If you break your leg, or your heel then you would look foolish fro choosing innapropriate footwear.
Have confidence - and present yourself well. Its not about the shoes - good luck

Yes, by all means. Your shoes isn't important -- and when you get there, don't talk for 5 minutes about the weather & your choice of boots. Be quiet about it, and the personal interviewing will understand that you're: intelligent, not one for airs, serious, earnest, dedicated and on-time (no matter the weather). Plus, if you want to titillate.. you can always carry heels in your shoulder-bag and slip them on in front of your interviewer, or under the desk as you're talking (if you think that would help a bit, too). Seriouslly, trust your instincts. If the boots stop them from hiring you - you don't want to be there in the first place. What I'm saying is: always do what YOU want.

Can you wear the boots to the interview place, then change to your heels before the interview?

Snow boots? You should change your shoes when you get there. Carry them in a plastic bag and leave your snow boots by the door.
Good luck!

Take an extra pair of shoes, change your shoes in ur car or a bathroom. I don't think boots would look that good.

Yes you can wear them. I don't think wearing boots would affect your ability to perform on the job, doesn't affect your skills.
