Weak??? Heck no! I think it makes you more of a man -- one who enjoys doing these things and admits to it. I don't believe there are any true "Men" and "Women" roles anymore. I have a girlfriend who does the house repairs around the house because her husband doesn't have a clue how to fix anything. But on the flip side, he's an excellent cook. What ever works for you and your wife is all that counts.

Of course not! When I need anything sewed, I have to go to my son-in-law and either have him do it for me or let me borrow his sewing machine. There is nothing weak about him either. He's a real manly man.
Good for you! Your daughter will cherish the blanket forever.

Of course it doesn't. I'd personally like to see more guys learning to do this sorta thing instead of leaving it to the girls all the time. And if a baby is benifiting-even better. Keep it up!!!

Knowledge is power. Power is strength. Knowledge, power and strength are sexless as both sexes can achieve them. Power, strength and knowledge used in unison for the betterment of something or someone; is wisdom.
Wisdom is never weak.

i don't think so...it was obviously important to you for your baby to have a handmade blanket, and as you have the aptitude for it, it just makes sense that you took care of it.
Nicely done.

a real man does whatever it takes to care for his family. you're off to a good start, keep it up. anybody that thinks what you're doing is not manly is most unsure about his own manlyness. forget him, he doesn't count
