I had a sense of humor back in 85 for about ten minutes. I tried it at a bar one night. It did not work, not only did I not get laid. I had to buy two rounds of drinks and was not able to write it off on my taxes. So since then I have given up my sense of humor and now just like to sit in judgment of all others. It gives me a sense of peace to be able to pick apart others and say hurtful things. I like my self better when other people like them selves less.

I know what you mean. They make it their business to see if they can ruin a person's good mood. But take heart! There ARE still plenty of nice people out there! I had a bet w/ a friend of mine that I could put the most mundane thing on Answers and STILL find kind people. Yesterday, I said "I have new socks" and you wouldn't believe how sweet people were. There were the 3 who had the usual nasty temperament, but you're right...that 10% bunch are idiots.

I think it's just for shock value. I don't really believe anyone gets offended by comments from strangers. It's just a way to pass the time and pretend. Just an outlet. Pretty therapeutic for some.

this whole place is full of crap, i don't see why people get so defensive, and quote the whole bible when others say things against their religion. hmmm if a person is an atheist, then you can pretty much be sure that they don't see the bible as a particularly factual piece of evidence...
people are stupid :/
