I do not have any kids: And at one time I did come out to my Mom but drama happened which made me question my sexual preference to where I told her I was straight again. But have now come to realize and deal with that I am a lesbian and always have been but have not told her that I am gay because she couldn't accept it when I told her the first time. So I just really don't say anything about my sexual preference to her. One reason being is that she is all I have and I don't want to lose her, but I think deep down inside she knows I am gay. And maybe one day I will tell her again if she seems ok with it.

Yes my parents know about my lifestyle. I did keep it from them for a few years but it got to be way more stress hiding and living a lie, so i chose to be who I am & live my life for ME. They may not agree with it but they still love me & respect me more now for being honest with them. I dont have any children yet but when my girlfriend and I start a family, of course they will know.

Yes, both parents know and are completly amazing. I was married for four years and have a daughter who is 19. When I divorced I got custody of her and she just grew up knowing because I met my husband about a year after my divorce. She is a lovely young woman who graduated HS last year and is in her first year of college. She just moved out and got her own apartment about a mile from our home.

Unfortunately, my mother was told on Christmas morning by my ex's sister. It took her some time, but she's completely cool w/ it now. My dad does not know because I'm not yet comfortable to tell him, because of my culture and upbringing. But every father should love their children, since we're our parents creation.

My whole family knows that I am gay. At first my parents were upset but now they are fine with it.

My mom figured it out before I got to tell her. One day, she came out and asked me, "are you gay?" I guess that's when I realized I had to tell her the truth.

If I ever have children, I will let them know because I wouldn't want them growing up to become homophobic and then end up hating me.

I don't have children yet, but when I do, my parents will most definately know. They'd be so excited to be grandparents.
