Packets of butter and stock cubes and house-bricks,
Shoeboxes, and sugar cubes in small packets,
Breezeblocks and dice you can hang on a string...
These are a few cuboid everyday things...

A book, box of matches, cereal packet etc. A cube of sugar is a cube rather than a cuboid as all the sides are even. A cuboid is more like a three dimensional rectangle. Cuboid=Like a cube, cube shaped, with 6 rectangular faces. Cube=Solid contained by 6 equal squares.

Ummm... Basically a cuboid is a 3-D structure bounded by six rectangular faces... And as for everyday items, there's lots of stuff... The first things that come to my mind are: Bricks, Books, Boxes, A Room, etc...
