Micha Richards and Jonathan Woodgate.
You need a better defence and maybe a 25goal a season striker like Micheal Owen !!! Or Torres as that bloke up there says. Better to get Owen back though.
P.S I hope (we) Chelsea get Richards !!

The kitty you deserve?

For one thing, Benitez well simply piss away the money on five or six players he doesn't need.

Also, as I have already mentioned, these new owners are going to run your club like a business. They want to resell it in a decade and make a profit. They are not going to be like Roman; they aren't going to fork over a ton of their own cash.

You may getting an improved kitty, but you aren't going to have an endless supply. Torres is going to end up at United in the summer. All signs point to that.

Liverpool seem interested in David Villa, but so is Chelsea. So, if a bidding war commences, Chelsea well win it. I think Owens is a good possibility, and I think a swap deal for Crouch looks the deal to be made. If Owens can somehow regain his Pool form, he is scary good, and pretty entertaining to watch. I hate Liverpool, but I always liked watching Owens.

Your team needs width. You need defense. But, most of all, you need to get rid of the fat. You need to get rid of some of your midfielders and need to drop this crap rotation system. Get a structured XI in, and stop buying crap players.

Benitez is looking for youth, but he doesn't have the eye that Arsene has. I think that you need a new manager, and you need to play your best player where he wants to play! Not out wide, but in the middle of the park.

well i think that pennant is good enough on the wing to hold is position. mascherano will be bought as cover for alonso/sissoko as with gerrard there is only zenden. rotation works, that is why we are the form team in the premiership at the moment. i agree that hypia and fowler are past it, but their experience is vital and they can be used in cup games where they will flourish.

a striker could be needed, maybe a david villa, but i think that kuyt is a top player and bellamy is better used as a sub. crouch will be better against teams that have a faster back four as he does not run in between defences, he holds up the ball. another bellamy type player, full of pace would be good.

ribery or malouda would be a good buy, gonzalez is struggling and kewell will struggle after such a long term injury. riise is okay, but better used in the rotation with aurelio.

so a cover centre back, maybe woodgate. centre mid macherano. winger, malouda or ribery even that german ondonkor looks a good buy. and a striker, david villa

Well i think that Liverpool need to invest in a new central defender, clearly Sami Hypia is past his sell by date, Daniel Agger looks a classy defender, but with him and Jamie Carragher, you need that extra man, possibly Jonathan Woodgate, who brings pace, experience and he is a better playing defender that Carragher.

In midfield, i personally think that Liverpool posses the second best midfield in England behind Chelsea, You look at your central midfield opitions in Gerrard, Alonso and Sissoko, they could give any midfield a battering in world football, on the wings, it looks like Pennant may be getting used to new sourroundings, i think you may Liverpool may need a new left winger, like Frank Ribery, of Marseille.

Up front, Robbie Fowler is clearly past his best, Peter Crouch is an excellent player, who in my opinion, is very underrated, but he is not a natural goalscorer, Craig Bellemy is hot and cold, he is usually like a woman on the change, you just never know what mood he is going to be in, you need a natural goalscorer, like Michaek Owen, Hernan Crespo, someone who play's on the line of the 6 yard area.

All that you guys need is a centre back. Benitez is almost as good as arsene wengar when recognizing young talent. You really don't need the money.
