I've suffered with PN drip for about 5 years. I've tried everything from saline solution to getting off of dairy products. Unfortunately to no avail. The only thing that would work for me was antihistamines.
However.... about 3 months ago my wife had some left over prunes in our pantry from a recipe she had tried.
On a whim I grabbed the bag and ate them. I noticed the next morning that my vision was sharper. For me this was a big deal having been born nearsighted and undergone LASIK surgery. So I kept eating them daily.
After a few weeks I began to realize that my sinuses and PN drip had stopped. The only thing I'd done differently in that time was eating 5 or 6 prunes a day. I stopped eating them one day and noticed that things began to get worse again. So I can say that prunes have cured my sinus / PN drip problem. Not sure why. I know they contain lots of vitamin A and vitamin K. Vitamin K isn't something you see or read about often. Maybe that has something to do with it??? All I know now is that my antihistamines are collecting dust in my bathroom drawer for the first time in years.

Post nasal Drip is a symptom..what is causing it?
I have major food allergies, once I stopped eating those foods I got rid of a cough I had had almost ALL my life.
Big one could be Dairy, it's very common. If you do dairy stop it for a few weeks & see if it helps.
For my Pollen & Mold allergies I use Alevert.

Listen to my story on the bottom left corner of the web page. I talk about my post nasal drip being the last thing to go with what I chose to do http://www.glycostory.com/mannalive
next, click on the stories tab and look up allergies or post nasal drip or digestion problems.

There are over the counter medications that can help with that, such as Sudafed, Tylenol Sinus, etc. But, if you don't want to take medication, try elevating your pillow at night to prevent the drip--this really helps. You could also try this site for more potential tips. http://health.divinfo.com/

Try avoiding dairy products cause they thicken the mucus. Drink lots of water, and try eating garlic which reduces mucus production. If that doesn't work, than try taking mucinex. Go to this website for more information. http://www.postnasaldrip.net/
