Andrew Carnegie did found The carnegie steel company.
It is interesting to note that he started out working in a cotton mill in Allegheny Pa. He was paid $1.20 for his job as a threader.

Andrew Carnegie was in the steel industry. J.P. Morgan was a banker and art collector and Rockefeller founded Standard Oil.Along with Jay Gould who made his fortune in railroads they were the four tycoons of American industry. You can find books about them on Amazon.com
