Girls seem to prefer the bad boys over the good nerds. They always complain that boyfriends treat them badly, but the many boys that would treat them with respect and dignity can't get any dates. Women seem to like a sense of humor, and that often has a sarcastic side to it in a bad-boy mentality. Maybe it is the type of boys you find most interesting that is causing your perspective?

I am a man and I don't think women like sarcasm and lies. Furthermore, I have never heard a man state that he believes that women like sarcasm and lies. Perhaps you are confusing using those communication tactics with liking them. Nobody enjoys being in a situation where using sarcasm or lying seem like viable options, because most lying is used in an attempt to avoid or end a confrontation and possible rejection. Sarcasm is used in situations where the person using it feels either anger or disrespect toward the other person. So, while many people (men and women) use lying and sarcasm, nobody likes being in the situation where they are most likely to be used, and I also don't think anyone believes that other people like having those tactics used on them.

I see these types of questions ALL the time and what kills me is the total lack of responsibility of the person asking the question. Did you ever think that, maybe, just maybe, you're attracted to people who like to play games? If you keep dating guys and they all seem to lie to you and play games, maybe YOU should change the type of guys you date. Wouldn't that be an easier answer than trying to change the guy's nature? The old saying rings true here - the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.

Sarcasm and lies is disrectful to you as well as himself. He doesn't like himself very much if he can't stand up like a man and admit when he's wrong.
