Of the four you listed, I like how "Kahlen Marie" sounds, the best. One thing: with any of these names, your child will be telling people how to spell it for the rest of their lives. That's something to think about. I'd do what you can to get a straightforward spelling. "Axl Warren Lee" also sounds good but again - "Axl" is an odd spelling.

i personally prefer 'Kahlen Marie'
the others will make your child sound like 'trash.' that's not to be an insult. you need to consider the ramifications of a name and how people will perceive your child to be. as i understand it, people with normally spelled names tend to get the higher paying jobs and tend to be successful. you might consider researching this on the internet. a name is something your child will have for the rest of their life. AND that name will most likely be the first thing first impressions will be based on.
good luck and congratulations!

I like Lyrik a lot!
Unfortunately the others, including Axl, are not my style. If you want my HONEST opinions...
Jazean Jay makes me want to say Jazzy J
Jakara sounds like a Star Wars movie character
Kahlen is nice but getting popular
Axl, well, I'm not a Guns and Roses fan...
Of course what matters is that you and your fiance like them, nothing else! I have been criticized for the names of my children but it's not my job to please everyone :0)

I agree with Deb M. Since I work at an elementary school, I've seen tons of kids with "different" names. Don't do that to your child. Reminds me of my mom's friend as a kid who gave her girls really "groovy" names in the 60's as in Candy (not bad) and Rainbow (arghh). Get a baby name book that gives the meanings of the names (like Sylvia means forest nymph. I'm surprised we didn't have more Sylvias come out of the 60s and 70s).

Honestly, I think you are trying to be unique, which is great, but not only will they be telling people how to spell their name forever, but they will continuously be correcting its pronunciation! You dont have to name your child Jane, or John, thats boring. But, I have friends that have crazy first names, they have either taken their middle name, which is a normal name or they use a a nickname, that is pretty normal. I beleive in being unique, but sometimes you need to think of what is best for your child. I have a son, his name is Franklin Jason, and my next (not pregnant yet, but hoping for it shortly) if it is a girl will be Anastasia Noelle.

I would try to stick with more common names. Don't try to invent a new one, it will only make it harder for your child. Also, please remember it is not the name which makes your child special it him or her. I have seen Mike's, Joe's and Mary's who made a deep impression without the need of a newly invented name.
Your child wont be a child for very long, think about a name you would like to have for yourself and take this as a guide to naming your child.

I think that those are all very good names, but Lyrik Allan seems to be the best one to me.

You need to go to the bookstore and get a book of regular names. Remember, you said ¨baby names¨. He/she will not be a baby forever. Look for normal adult names.
