Sorry leo, its a religious based question and answer so I cannot give you an answer. Short of religion, I know of no one else having an afterlife in which you might be reunited with someone who has died. MG

When someone dies, their body and brain stop functioning permanently, so this person's consciousness no longer exists, and the person you knew doesn't exist. Just the body. That's it. Now you can believe there's an invisible soul that has left the body and is going somewhere, but that belief is contradicted by the evidence and commonsense. It's just what many people hope will happen. So no, you'll never see them again.
So if you love someone, don't wait to show it. The only chance you'll have is while they're alive.

You're crazy if you think God has nothing to do with it. He gave life and he delivers the death. Whether you want to believe He has anything to do with it is your own choice. But it doesn't change the fact that He is the cause of it all.
But...with a Godly answer. If that person wasn't saved....or if they were and you weren't....then no, you will never see them again and if you do see them in that dark place, it will hurt worse than ever seeing them pass from this life.
Sorry but it's the truth.

God has everything to do with it because if you don't believe in life everlasting then you just get put in the ground and that's it - You don't get to see anyone you knew ever again. If you are a believer in God almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, then you know that you will be with God in Heaven, where you will be with all of the people that you knew and loved in perfect happiness.
But, if you don't want a spiritual answer, then don't ask a question for which that is the only possible answer.

lots of logical jumps and begged questions; the place to start up? Your assertion means which you purely believe in issues you have empirical evidence for. i assume you do no longer believe that Higgs bosons exist, or that gravity comes from a curve in timespace. you may not teach those issues the two, yet they make experience interior the bigger image. They in wonderful condition with what all of us comprehend concerning the organic universe. this is a similar with God. as quickly as I make experience of my existence from delivery formerly, one concern looks to run by my stories and that i elect to discover that concern as God. It suits with what i believe concerning the universe and it suits what centuries of clever and considerate adult males wrote approximately. faith isn't approximately making human beings grow to be transformers and it has no longer something to do with making God real. faith is the certainty that God is already real and that he's love. One guy did no longer write the Bible. Many adult males did, purely like adult males right this moment write concerning the Higgs boson and the reason of gravity. I think of you do no longer waste a while quoting from them the two. in case you do no longer believe in God, wonderful. greater potential to you, bro. yet think of roughly some thing: what motivates you to get on R&S and diss people who do believe? they are no longer harming you in any way, so ... there must be different motives.

You cannot ask any sort of question without getting religious.
This is because religion, be it God, gods, goddesses, science (yes, science is a religion), or anything else is just a way to explain that which we experience.
So, if you want an atheistic answer, here it comes:

They are gone. nowhere.... neither to heaven nor to hell. Their soul turn into an energy and aired. They feel nothing like when they had not born. What we see (ghost/spirit) is only our imagination which came from our unstable emotions. Missing of someone we lost make us project their image into our mind, thus our mind visual it into our sight. But i do believe in god!

'm sorry but the answer is no you don't ever exactly see them again. When you die your mater is transformed into another form lets says logically from humans to worms to birds to a human eating the bird. Ever see worms on a dead cat on the side of a road. Mater if just transformed! I have to admit since time is infinite and all the possible transformations will likely occur over a very very very*billions of years its likely you will find yourself in a very similar but different situation, Asking the same question, history repeats itself. So from this point on you have to ask yourself about respecting all life because he's still energy and likely will be eaten by another life form. I wish i could have a more satisfying answer but its reality. Respect all life from now on.Mainly close to home and his grave. That's where the bulk of his remains are.
Note:respecting life is hard for me because i like to eat meat and farms don't respect animals on my behave like i would want them too. For me its my last known sin.I try to eat small portions mixed in with pizza or vegetables etc.
Going from human to earth to fruits to humans is a more satisfying trip to me but it doesn't taste as good.
Note:End of answer for the question/vote.

Since the people who believe in god can't respect your request not to have god as an answer...i'd like them to think about this. In is book god said we should not kill or murder but he didn't say don't murder humans he said should not murder...so you people still cook lobsters alive believing your going to heaven...you people can't answer a simple question without saying god did it or god created it. Listen to his teachings but please answer the questions. I'm not blaming god i'm blaming your interpretation of is works. On coins it says "in god we thrust" but we still permit death sentences in some states. Your not helping is cause by being so closed minded you know. I'd argue your doing the opposite. Didn't he also say"don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you" I'm sure the lobster/cow wants to live.
Isn't there a conflict in your interpretations between Don't do to others...Vs don't murder.
Also If Only humans go to heaven why is there no place in heaven for my cat is that not a rude idea. Didn't god create the earth for my cat/lobster too or are they just not smart enough to qualify. All life feels its why we live, every being wants to live happily ever after not just humans.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.Quote
"Murder is the unlawful and intentional killing of a human being by another. The penalty for murder is often life imprisonment, or in jurisdictions with capital punishment, the death penalty. It is generally viewed as one of the most atrocious crimes that can be committed, next to crimes against humanity. As with most legal terms, the precise definition varies between jurisdictions."end of quote.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder

You saw them is because their image is capture in your grey matters of your brain, something like recorder. It is because you were still thinking of them. Let it go, make yourself busy and enjoy the company of those still around.
