It's a chemical change. I assume you are referring to prilosec of some other alpha channel and not rolaids ( rolaids is a chemical change too but different).

The alpha channel blockers, chemically react with the lining of you stomach and cause the hydrogen pumps to shut down = chemical change.

Rolaids is essentially base in a pill form - usually Na ascorbate or something - look on the label, or NaHCO3. These react with the acid to neutralize it = chemical change.

Since you have a reaction between the medicine and stomach acid to neutralize the acid, it is a chemical reaction.
