During the warm weather, from mid spring til late fall, I sleep with all my doors and windows open for the fresh night air. It also allows me to hear the night music of the crickets, katydids, whip-por-wills, and tree peepers. The best music to fall asleep to.Then in the mornings I awake to the sound of birdsong. Natures alarm clock. Of course I also leave my doors and windows open when I leave for the day as well to keep the house cool. I live way out in the country on a dirt road with no traffic and my house isn't visible from tne road.

I only check the door once before bed.
I'm on the fourth floor and there isn't a fire escape to worry about so I don't check the windows.

I check them all twice before I go to bed then of course my husband goes behind me and checks. Then as soon as we get in the bed he says did you lock the back door...

I leave all the damn doors and windows open. I like inviting trouble, in fact I welcome it, it turns me on. I could show you the scars on my body to prove it. If everyone is nice, I curse them all. If everyone is cursing, I'm nice. I'm an unreasonable guy. I really enjoy it. Does this make any sense to you?

I check them one time, and then I check to make sure my Glock 10mm is under my pillow.
