Blogs what work, i.e. get visited, usually provide value to the visitor. If you provide value (and don't blatantly plagiarise other's content) then you shouldn't go far wrong ethically speaking

As long as you don't:

1)spam
2)break the law
3)discuss illegal activities
4)encourage illegal activities
5)be overtly sexual, blasphemes or offensive
6)encourage terrorism
7)commit fraud
8)beg
Then you should be fine - your server host will probably shut you down if you do any of the above.
