Why is it that guys say they like a natural girl with little makeup but when they see a celebrity,like Adriana

The thing is, celebs who look like they wear almost no make-up actually put much effort (or rather, their stylist) in wearing them!

It's just their preferred look is the understated, all-natural look and really, not many look flattering without any make-up.

And us regular girls don't have the time or the arsenal of blushes, foundations, two-way cake, mascara, concealers etc at hand, and neither do we have a really great make-up artiste on our beck and call everyday.

So, I think it's time for the guys to separate between reality and fantasy. But then again, do they even have this faculty?

there is 2 types of girls to a man

the nasty, dirty, fake, cheap kind (like the famous actresses) he fantasizes about.. they serve one purpose and one purpose only... uhh yeah won't go there

then there is the girlfriend/relationship type.. the not so dirty/fake/cheap ones.. aka your 'natural' girls

They don't look for the same qualities in both situations. don't ask about the logic behind it, cause there isn't any.. Just two seperate 'brains' with 2 seperate preferences. ;)

EDIT: And to all the girls specifically pointing this towards guys, keep in mind that girls do it too (maybe not as much, but they still do) otherwise Brad Pitt and many others wouldn't have a career.

Because they don't know what they want. And I don't think it's so much that they're drooling over them because of the way their make-up is done. They model lingerie. If a girl that didn't wear make-up or wore it very naturally modeled some lingerie in front of them they'd probably drool as well.

Because they're shallow and probably don't realize that they're fake and wearing a bunch of make up. Oh yeah, and some of them get cosmetic surgery done too.

yes the words are true but......as we want to see some one whos natural..but the one u see every time on the screen gives u a different feeling ......its just lust but deep inside us we knw the kind of women we luv to have ......if its possible to spend a nite wth those stars it will surely ends there ...is just lust for the beauty we see on the screens but luv for those we have pix of in our hearts

I figure that it is cuz they still look sexy either way, and everyone wants a star in there bed as do I, but I still would prefer my girlfriend too be sexy, and not have to wear it to look good, cuz I dont want ppl to think she sexy, and than be like DAMN when they see her without makeup

it's bcoz the guys dont no their real faces and once thay got to no it they will get horrified.....and girl it's the television world which they like but dont prefer it more and when thay say that they like girls with light make-up it means that they r really serious abt tht. they wud like to marry a girl who matches his preference but they cant marry actresses.....as if any actress wud say yes to them.
