For "real' I see;

Rodeo "State Fair Day" (Colorado) most dress "western" and it is city wide in Pueblo.

As I said Colorado: the last 6 Superbowls and say the other AFC championship games are "Denver Bronco" attire.

Halloween has been a well 'issue" for such as large hospitals, suitable for some departments, etc.

Those bring your "daughter to work" are fun if they dress alike, etc.

My wife did take the dog to work one time that seems to be pushing "outrageous"?

But we are a rural, small city, not very exciting...

Team sports...granted, it is not outrageous/funny...but goes with the whole casual thing...seems plenty of people these days own plenty of sports apparel - myself, I have plenty of football, baseball, and hockey jerseys as well as hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. in my collection.
