There are a lot of great services out there to help you search for foreclosed properties.
A new site propertyshark.com is strong in New York, LA and Miami as well as other areas nationwide. There information is very extensive and their site is easy to use and perfectly organized. There are also other nationwide sites with less information, poor organization but more areas such as realtytrac.com and foreclosure.com.
And you can always check with your county's clerk or recorder's websites to see if they also provide this information on line.
