While Goonies is probably the best from when I was little, as a child my faves were
Flight Of The Navigator (one of the first live-action films I ever saw at the cinema)
Santa Claus: The Movie (another of the first I ever saw)
The Neverending Story
Back to the future trilogy
Labyrinth
Willy Wonka & The chocolate factory
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
3 Men & a baby/little lady
Home Alone
ET
and The Goonies
(I also was very into Indiana Jones)
Don't think I had just one favourite (and there are too many Disney films to mention)

The first thing I've noticed from the answers is that a lot of you all are pretty young cause my favourite movie I'm pretty sure you all have never heard of.
Best film I've ever seen as a kid is called "Scavenger Hunt". Was a black and white movie and it's the funniest movie I've seen in all my life thus far (I'll be 36 in a few months..lol). I cannot remember the names of the actors but I can still see them and I can't remember most of the movie but the memory of it hasn't left me yet and I hope it doesn't. It was a classic comedy that made you laugh so much that your belly ached and u cried so much from the laughter (a fall to the floor and laff ur *** off type movie). If anyone knows of this and has any idea where i can get my hands on it, I'd be profoundly grateful!!! email: sathomas_1@yahoo.com.
My second would definitely have to be "History of the World Part 1." Got a copy of that and can't get enough of it. I'm a huge melbrooks fan he's got my respect!!
Though not from childhood "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" (another Mel) is hilarious.
Cheers!

That's a tough one to call. I remember really loving Short Circuit with Johnny when I was about 7. I liked Flight of the Navigator too! And Batteries Not Included which had these cute little flying saucer things. They were on ITV practically every month.

My fav films as a kid are still my favs, The origional Star Wars movies. I went to see a new hope every weekend for 6 months when it came out. and everytime I watch it the opening theme and sequence still gives me goosebumps. I also like all the old Godzilla movies, very cheesy but a lot of fun. They bring back alot of great childhood memories....
