NO, cos its not right to have two gay dads or mums.
At my school the kids would have had the P*ss ripped out of em, and that aint good for any kid to go through !!
Plus (for blokes) The back door is Exit only !!

I'd have a hard time denying someone that priveledge because they are gay. It's easy to get stuck on this issue, but where would we stop? It's a belief system and lifestyle. Would we not let Christians adopt? Non-Christians? Republicans? Minorities? Apartment-dwellers? Tight-wads? I think the focus should be on whether or not the individual(s) would raise a child in a loving and nuturing household.
I am friends with a gay couple that adopted and a straight couple that adopted. Both have split up, but still take great care of the kids. (BTW, the gay couple is white and the straight couple is black -- same result.) Just goes to show that we are more alike than we are different.

Absolutely! As a gay parent I have many gay & straight friends (most with children) and I have found the children of gay parents to be the more stable minded, independent thinking. The majority of kids I know that have been raised by straight parents have turned out to be little b*****ds!! Our Daughter is nearly 16,loves school,is kind, caring, well spoken, polite, does extrmely well at school (has just been made senior prefect, has won a Princess Diana Award,an anti racism award, numerous good behaviour awards etc),is creative and intelligent and is a very popular individual not just with her school friends but also with every adult that meets her...some parents didn't know she was raised by a lesbian couple and commented on how well brought up she was!! The straight families seem to have forgotten how to be parents these days. Most Gay parents are determined to be great parents and do their utmost to provide loving, caring homes.

Yes, of course they should!
Committed couples with the resources to raise and love a well-balanced child should never be denied. It shouldn't matter if they're gay or lesbian. To deny a couple the rights as other human beings is just like racism - are you going to make them sit in the back of the bus too? Some of you are ignorant enough to think so, if sexual attraction were as apparent as color.
There are so many children lost in the system these days that need loving homes, and many committed gay / lesbian couples, that have been together longer than 80% of heterosexual marriages, willing to give it. It seems unfair to both parties to be denied good lives.

Yes, of course. I think it's crazy that lesbian/ gay equality is still an issue in modern society. Are we living in 2007 or are we stuck in the middle ages when the churches ruled people through fear & made up all these religious & moral rules to suit themselves? God didn't write the bible, man did. Lesbians & gays should have equal rights.

Yes they should - as long as they meet the requirements of the adoption agency, in the tests they apply to determine suitability. Much as they do for straight couples.

8% of gay males are a biological dad. Greater than 75% of them are active in the life of their child/children. I have to guess that the percentage of lesbians with kids is even greater.
I myself have 4 kids and have shared custody of them. The 2 boys live with me and my girls live with their mom. All of them are teens and were allowed to choose which parent they wished to reside with.
There have been many studies and none of them showed any negative effects on the development of the children. Based on that fact there is no reason to deny gays adoption opportunities.

Yes. Every study that's been done has shown that kids raised in gay parented households grow up to be as well adjusted as their counterparts raised in heterosexual households. Claims that kids raised in gay headed households will turn out gay have been disproven time and again. And let's face it: the overwhelming majority of gays were raised in heterosexual headed households. The only thing preventing full acceptance of gays as parents is bigotry.
