nope not really..i tend to keep my personal life seperate from work. i used to work in a small town and the secretary was the most meddling person. she had to ask everyone what they did the night before, etc and then proceed to go around the office to fill everyone in, and add her own comments of course.

Well, I work as sec for a legal firm and usually socialise with the other secretaries more then the fee earners because there is a divide at times which is understandable but I try to be chatty to everyone equally.

I am very leary about talking about personal things at work. Live and learn! Not a good idea. I have been burned many times by vicious and back-stabbing people who smile to your face and act completely different behind your back. The workplace is a very dangerous place to air your personal life/problems. If you must do so, choose VERY carefully!

I did at one time but then I got burned pretty badly so I decided just to say Good Morning, etc.

Although I work around a few assholes who I wanna punch in the mouth sometimes,yes we do have conversations about some of everything. But dont get to personal they will teel everyone else about it.

I would rather not - I mean - I will talk to them to be pleasant or whatever.....
But when it comes to like "hanging out" - no. I would rather just maintain a working, professional relationship with them.
I have plenty of friends outside of work & I would rather not mix the two.

yeah course. i even went out with one guy. but yeah most ppl i work with are sound exept 3. i have a really ood friend from work timber. we are always messing.i miss crazy tomas too an the other tomas. they both got firerd but they were so much fun

Oh, the pain. I try to just keep it job related but you know how some are? listen to their problems and then off they go into someone else's happy space to annoy them too.
