You have to buy a seperate program to convert your DVDs into iPod format and then you can put them onto your iPod. Get the program to format it, save it into a folder or drag it into one, then drag it to your iTunes library under movies. Plug in your iPod, drag the movie from the movies section to the picture of your iPod, and your good to go.

Go to download.com and search for a dvd ripper and jodix free ipod video converter

Download both.. then first use the dvd ripper to rip the dvd to your computer.. then use the ipod video converter to convert the ripped dvd to ipod format.
