I was watching shameless alast night and carl in the show looked familar when i figured it out he also Carl in emmerdale how does he get time off to do a channel 4 show i thought they did not like each other(the channels that is)

Twins Luke and Elliot Tittensor. They both shared the role of Carl in shameless during the first series, but when Luke left to take the part as Daz in Emmerdale, Elliot took on the role full time.

Daz and Carl are twins in real life - I do believe Daz (Luke Tittensor) actually played Carl Gallagher first anyway - but got the job on Emmerdale and so his brother took over the role of Carl in Shameless!!!

the last series this caused a huge row in our house haha, he used to play him but he got the emmerdale role, so his twin brother took over. i was wrong and my other half was right so i was gutted lol
