"(CBS) New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's girlfriend is now persona non grata at Gracie Mansion.

A state judge sided with mayor's estranged wife, Donna Hanover, Monday, barring Judith Nathan from the city's official mayoral residence.

State Supreme Court Justice Judith Gische granted Hanover's request for a restraining order barring Judith Nathan from the home. "

So how do you excuse this now?

I'm talking about if this was not a republican you guys would be "OUTRAGED" that someone would move his girlfriend into the mayor's mansion while the wife and kids still lived there, and he was not divorced or even legally separated.

Um, the mayor of New York is Michael Bloomburg, not Rudy Giuliani. Therefore, nobody from his camp would be living in the mayor's mansion.

Are you living in a time warp or something?

I assume your weird question is some attempt at saying Giuliani's past indiscretions could be a problem in the next presidential election. That's absolutely true, but what makes you think that conservative Republicans don't already recognize that? It's the moderate Republicans that are enamored with him.

However, I will say that IF there is a heightened terrorist threat on our soil going into the 2008 election, even the conservative Republicans may look to Rudy because of the absolutely wonderful way he led as mayor after 9/11. If the terrorist threat is heightened, people are going to be more concerned with finding a good leader versus someone who cheated on his wife YEARS ago.

First of all you don't know that I would be "outraged". Secondly can you view the news objectively? In other words, don't you think there are details that were not included in this piece? Or just about any piece for that matter?
This is a personal situation, and none of us knows exactly what goes on behind closed doors. With anyone. Based on the information you provide here, personally I would say the situation stinks, and there is no excuse. But I'm sure this isn't the whole story.
Last but not least, I don't base my vote on this kind of crap. And I certainly don't use it as ammunition in a political arguement. It's silly. Looks like you're reaching, trying to stir things up. Good for you.
Why did you choose to post this under current events anyway? It's old! Giuliani hasn't been the Mayor of NYC for how long now?

You know what the sad thing is about some to the recent minor changes Yahoo has made to Answers? You can no longer give a "thumbs-down" to questions like this.

You should stop trying. They would make excuses if he sacrificed his child on a stone in Central Park. These people are stuck in a position and are unable to admit that they are wrong. Give up on them.
