This question was reported? LOL. Good question. You are right. Someone has an agenda and wants to keep up a state of panic, probably for funding purposes. The whole "global warming" hysteria and it's various incarnations over the past 75 years have fueled an enormous amount of donations to various environmental foundations, charities and movements. I doubt that many account for those funds.
Earth is nearing the end of the last ice age. There have been previous ice ages. They all had to end. We, as a species are going to have to adapt to it. I saw an article today about polar bears. Apparently, more and more polar bears are giving birth on ground rather than on ice. This has caused quite a bit of panic among humans who feel that polar bears will now die off. In actuality, the "birth on ice" was an anomaly of the polar bears---an adaptation, if you will, that allowed their species to survive an ice age. The polar bears aren't concerned that there is less ice. They've just returned to old terra firma and continue breeding and giving birth. Their species is adapting once again.

"Climate Change" is the current policitaly correct way of talking about the issue. The earth is warming ,of that there is scientific proof. However that does not mean that everyone will simply see warmer weather. The system will be more chaotic while the warming is taking place. Some places may see periodic temps colder than normal as shifting winds and air masses carry cold air around to various areas on the earth. The recent snowfall in the arizona desert is one such example.

Be assured, despite what you hear from politicians and political pundits, it is Global Warming.
Yes, it will create great climactic instability and at times even make it appear as if the Earth is experiencing its normal climactic peaks and troughs, but with Global Warming, the peaks will continue to get higher, and the troughs will also continue to get higher, which means hotter summers and milder winters in the Northern Hemisphere, and in the Southern Hemisphere, there will be massive floods, Hurricanes, and typhoons in the rainy season, and longer droughts and famine in the dry season.
Make no doubt about it, the Earth's climate is warming up, and will continue to do so until we stop emitting so many greenhouse gases and allow the ozone layer of the atmosphere to close itself back up.

Hmmm...could be any combination.
The term "Orwellian" refers to the following behavior of "the state" or "the party" (especially when the party is the state):
The state's manipulation of language for political ends. Obfuscation in naming is a favorite; e.g. WAR IS PEACE. The state's use of language is designed to reduce or eliminate ideas deemed dangerous to its authority.
Invasion of personal privacy by the state, whether physically or by means of surveillance.
The exercise of total state control in the daily life of citizens, as in a "Big Brother" society.
The state's encouragement of policies which contribute to the economic and social disintegration of the family.
The substitution of traditional religion with the adoration of the state and/or its leaders.
The state's encouragement "doublethink," whereby the population must learn to embrace inconsistent concepts without dissent.
The revision of history in the state's favor.
A dystopian future.

If we had been keeping track for more than just over One hundred yrs you MAY be able to have actual proof on the earths trend in climate. We haven't thus we can't accurately calculate the planets climate change.
The earth is life span compared to ours is incalculable with our means, Simply, it has been around alot longer than we have and trying to guess what it is doing year by year would be like trying to do the human body by a millisecond.

That is kinda funny. When you call it global warming, you say "OK, well the planet is getting warmer." And then they say "But it leads to a cooling process.", well that makes it a little unfair, doesn't it? So if the temperature doesn't stay right where it is (which it never does, global warming or otherwise) then clearly we are being affected by global warming.
