Playstation 3 reviews? What's your view of it?

Question

Had a chance, pre-Christmas, to get a 20MB Playstation 3. Knew the 60MB had more bells and whistles, so I passed and did not want to get caught up in just the hype. So what do folks think of it? Is $600, just too much for a video game. Blu-ray or not, it is still a video game. is there more computer functionality coming? Can you see the next wave being $800-1000 for a video game.

i dont think its expensive you get a wireless controller with battery built in the controller the usb charge cabel thier network is free you also get a blu-ray player which the greatest thing
xbox 360 core did not include any of these neither the premiuim
my opoiion the ps3 is a better investment dont the reviews about the game lineup at sucked ds had a bad lineup 360 had a bad lineup because when ps3 comes with the good games every is going to ride the band wagon

Way too expensive, thats how I see it. I think you were great passing up on that offer, because all the PS3 has to offer is good graphics, their launch games really suck so far. I'd say get the wii. It is really fun, and the graphics are good too. Plus you can get a workout from it, by using the wiimote to do different things. For the first time in gaming history, the wii is a console that really makes you feel like your in the game.

i dont know about taht, but if you compare it to an xbox 360 here is a way to shut down all those xbox 360 people about price

Xbox 360 premium /20GB hard drive = $400
Wireless adapter for xbox 360 = $100
HD DVD addon for xbox 360 =$150

All that already brings you to $650

the ps3 60gb has all that PLUS 40 extra GB AND a built in wireless adapter AND builtin in blu-ray drive (high definition movies) AND memory stick reader.....
