Don't open emails that you don't recognize.

Yahoo can't control all that goes on here.

Take care of you

Nothing really. It's spam most of the time. If you don't have the original e-mail with the headers intact, it's not possible to trace it.

Fraudsters change their name with every mark, so it's not likely that he or she used that name with anyone else.

But be careful about putting up names with accusations that you can't provide solid proof on. If it's a legitimate commercial dispute, you leave yourself open to suit.

Also, there are probably a few dozen innocent people named "Murray Evans" who are getting a bit rattled about their name being associated with a scam and may be talking to their attorney right now.

If you've been scammed and have actual losses, report it to the police and maybe consult with an attorney. But don't post information in a public forum -- it can come back and bite you!
