Sleep and nourishing food are important. Heavy foods will leave you feeling stuffed and sleepy, so go easy on that. Sleep the optimum number of hours that don't leave you tired. Don't relax by watching TV - your brain needs to relax and TV stimulates it, so you will end up as tired as before. Gym works better for me because I then focus on the weights...

Focus while studying. If you just don't understand a concept after reading it three times, move on; try to understand another little tidbit. That will boost your confidence AND perhaps even help you understand the previous concept/chapter.

Good luck!

While it's normal to be nervous, too much anxiety can hurt your performance on tests. That is because when you are nervous, your arteries constrict blood flow to your internal organs, and your breathing becomes shallow, which decreases the oxygen in your system, including your brain. The best and simplest way to manage this is by doing some slow, deep breathing. Inhale and exhale fully and slowly 5 times when you feel anxious, and you will increase your oxygen, think more clearly and feel calmer.
Good question. Good luck.
