He made me so mad I wanted to throw the TV out the window and then jump and stomp on it. I was pissed off the whole night and I couldn't even sit through the whole thing. I'd rather watch Laguna Beach (which I hate with a burning passion) then watch that man tell lie after lie after lie with Chenney smirking in the background. I can't stand it! I thought it was the worst excuse for a speech I have ever heard!

Its like McCain mentioned with seven hundred billion shall we rebuild the finished infrastructure of the USA and then some . What can we want loans for if we've money from working . And if we do bail them out so they are able to furnish loans who could have the money to pay the loans . Face it the actually everyone seems to be broke We cant have adequate money greater loans

If he would only call a duck a duck, and tighten our borders, as a matter of our survival, damn the torpedoes and pc missles from the left, kick the illegals, and the exchange students out, and give fair warning to the terroristts, that they can not hide behind the governments that give them roost, and supply them with war materials, for we will send them all back to the creator to sort out, then return the blood of the innocent to their hands, and not accept any blame from anyone, foreign or domestic.

How can ANYONE guarantee anything? That is impossible when there are so many variables. He was being pretty realistic when he used the words "try" and "hope"--he knows that he is not achieving what he wanted to achieve and all he can offer is the promise that he will try to the of his abilities to do what he thinks is right. Now, you and I might not agree with what his definition of "right" is, but he can't promise to do more than that. He is just one man, and despite what they media says he doesn't control it all. There are many other players in the game.

I agree,He is not standing on all too solid ground right now,so it would be difficult to make solid promises.

Who ever wrote that speech for Bush needs their head examined.

Bush is good about talking high and dirty deeds.

WOW! You want guarantees? How can a mere mortal offer you a guarantee about anything? What you wanted was for President Bush to say what you wanted him to say. Which sounds to me like you wanted him to regurgitate the liberal pap, which isn't going to happen.
