He's done some good, and some bad. His plans for troop increases is a bad idea. Numbers won't do it. We have to undermine the enemies way of thinking.

There have been many more presidents who have "killed" a much higher number of soldiers than Bush has. As far as liking him as a president, I don't know. Mixed feelings on the subject. The economy seems strong, especially when you consider the mess it was in right after 9/11. He's has the habit of taking on the jobs others would normally push aside for someone else to attempt, which is part of the reason he got 9/11, Iraq, and all the other bad stuff. At least he's willing to roll up his sleeves and get dirty trying to do something, vice goofing off with interns, football, fishing, or some other waste of time. And he does admit it when he's made a mistake, or at least when he has to. So, while I don't think he's the best one, I don't think he's the worst. And given the choices we were able to vote for, I don't see where any improvement would have been made if any other candidate would have been voted in.

Yes, we finally have a president that does not care about political views. He stands behind his decisions, even if he gets bashed by the public. Would you rather a president that changes his point when the wind blows in a different direction?
My husband is a Marine and he knew the day he signed in that there was always a possibility he could die for our country, that is the point of the military, they are there to protect us! Every-time you protest this war you are completely demeaning the sacrifices of our troops. Lets show some pride support this country & our boys overseas. God Bless America & President Bush

First of all, let me say that I'm not a huge Bush fan, but I'm in agreement with his political philosophies in general. Fortunately, he's a better statesman than he is a politician. The bad thing is that most of America, and the world for that matter, hasn't a clue what that means. Unfortunately, he appears incompetent in his decision-making, when in fact he's just not eloquent in the public forum. As far as Iraq goes, Bush isn't killing our soldiers; Iraqi terrorists are.
I'd agree that mistakes have been made in Iraq, but it is clearly a just and necessary action, and we have no right to abandon the Iraqi people at this point. Get on your knees and pray to God for the safety of our troops; and while you're there, don't forget to thank Him that neither Al Gore nor John Kerry is commander-in-chief.

He's killing soliders from left to right? Not sure what a solider is, but you don't like Bush. wow...
He didn't mention Katrina victims, damn him...
Such amazing thinkers. Your complaints were hand picked for you by your Friends at NBC... imagine that. Katrina was a disaster that could've been prevented by the governor and mayor and those dumb fools had time to pack up and leave days before. They didn't believe anything bad would come from a hurricane. I don't care about them they have done nothing but steal from all of us, don't care no sympathy.. move on.
None of this was really about Bush, the left was pissed that after their King Bill the first, they thought no way would Prince Al lose or Knight Kerry. They thought their reign would be forever. Once that bubble was burst they had been the little stalker in the shadows killing one at a time until there is no more.
I look forward to more of your words of enlightenment and depth.

I have a fondness for the man. A man that leads and doesn't wave his finger in the air to see which way the political winds are blowing. He is out to eliminate government sponsors of terrorist. This is the only path to victory against Extremist organizations such as Al-Quada(9/11) Hezbollah(killing 281 US Marines, and Ham mas(dedicated to the destruction of Israel.
A free Iraq sharing it's oil revenues with it's people will cause the pro western majority of Iran to rise up and Iranian extremist government will fall from within. Syria would shortly follow and all three organizations would crumble and become mere pests instead of real threats.

i think he is a good man with a tough job, and he takes protecting America real serious. I also believe he is doing the job he was elected to do, in spite of the "cut and run" liberals. He has all the information and intelligence that the rest don't. Yes he has made mistakes and yes American solders have died, and I know he feels every death. In the end I believe he IS protecting America. So YES I do like Precedent Bush.

Maybe they are known that way to you. Yes I like him, I voted for him both times and if I could I would vote for him again. He isn't killing our soldiers, the terrorist are killing our soldiers. You must support them as well as many others answering these questions. The soldiers are there because they are fighting for you, so you can get on here and slam whoever you want. Show some support.... geesh.

I do. He did a great job getting Ranger stadium built, and it has been a pure boon to Arlington. As governor, he created tax free weekend, which benefits the economy of retail and saves consumers money on clothes and supplies for school. And as president, we have not been attacked since 9./11, whereas under the previous administration, we were constantly attacked by Al Queda.
Do you realize that to equal the quantity of people that were killed training for D Day, not in the battle, just training exercises, we would have to stay in Iraq for ten more years at our current rate of soldier casulaity? The ratio of life loss of soldiers in Iraq is less than what Operation Werewolf did to us in ww2. It took nearly two decades of occupying Japan before we could leave there, and now they are one of the greatest nations on the planet, and a strong American ally.
I hate when people forget the words of Voltaire and do not study history.

I try to make it a point not to hate anyone, only the things they do or remain silent on issues that are affecting the Average American. Identity Theft, illegal immigration, securing our Boders/ports and keeping Domestic tranquility and prosperity by taking care of Home First!
Did you know Private Foreign entities own the Skyway in Illinois and it is illegal as it is part of the infrastruture? they can't tax citizens for fixing it or give traffic tickets on it. They have to provide Private security to enforce state law on highways like it owned by Spain and others.
The fight in Iraq has digressed into tribal civil war...Our Troops are far too precious and let the Privateer Globalist Communists handle their own without the help of the American people! They are eroding our Civil Rights and violating the United States Constituion on a daily basis. There are personal and privacy rights eroded in HR Bill 254 winding through Congress this week, by Rep Sheila Jackson-Lee democrat from TX. All of them are eroding Parental Rights, religious Freedom to worship or not to worship, making government the god in your life whether you like it or not! They are making our children and us property of the State. smoking bans, food bans and legistaltion eroding the rights of Private Citizens Right to Keep and Bare Arms! Where does it Stop and become a real legitimate government again? Is this the return of the Iron Curtain in a different location?

No, I don't. I didn't like him when he was governor...and like him even less as president. I wish the mainstream press would print a weekly report of how OUR money is being spent. And it wouldn't hurt if they printed the voting records of all Congress and Senate.
Ya know, I find it almost comical that we are preached at to conserve gas and lights etc., but I don't see Washington setting a very good example. Do you??
