i am looking for a 15h+ horse to loan/share in or around Wigan and cannot find one on any of the advert sites so thought i'd ask here.

Just a word of warning, if you do get a horse out on loan, make sure to make up a loan agreement so you know who pays what and for how long you are going to keep the horse. Trust me it is essential when having a horse out on loan. Check your local paper or by word of mouth around shows.

Have you tried putting an ad in your local paper ? it worked for me, also contact any treking or riding centers, they often farm out
horses and ponys, although this is only for the winter usually.
Also, try HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Asso)
they often want to rehome, if not search the web for Horse
Protection or Sancturys, there is a big on in Lincolnshire
who rehouse all over Britain, but I cannot for the life of me
think of the nam at the mom....good luck

Look at riding stables around your area. Also ask some vets about good, healthy horses for sale. Some good websites are:

find horse stable could be someone their who has horse you could share or loan,(BUT BE WARNED)you may have to clean stable out,hope this dose not put you off,good luck,

have you tried asking around your local riding schools or livery yards- often you could come across someone willing to share there?
