We all know what Freedom Of Speech intends.

**In your words** please define Political Correctiveness.

How does Political Correctiveness relate to Freedom Of Speech?

Should we all pay alittle more attention as to how we say, what we say?

Does any amount of responsibility fall back on us as citizens how we use our Freedom of Speech or how politically correct we are?

White people can't use racial slurs back to blacks that are using recial slurs.
White people are not allow to use certian words like the N word.
People have become way over cautious to avoid offended anyone.
Conan O'Brian did a skit about homophobe Christians nothing said.
The Imams sending out all sorts of warnings that we should be paying attention acting just like the hijackers on 9/11. Cry victim.

Nobody wants to say we are at war with Muslim Terrorist.
We walk around on eggshells when it comes to the words of Muslims who preach death to America.
Yet if a Christian senator goes to a Conservative Christian church the hollow is out.

I have seen NO benift from being PC. All it has done create more victims. Get over it is just words or if words do often and should be ban well than it is time to tear up the Freedom of Speech claus.

That would mean any liberal who compares Bush to Hilter should be haul in front of the PC court if even 1 complains.

I cannot stand Political Correctness and I am more of a liberal than a conservative. Why should people not be able to speak their minds. As long as it is held in secret, there will always be these seething resentments. What I can't understand is why we let ourselves get into this. Who decides what is correct and what is not. Should that not be an individual judgement. Sometimes people are so offensive and exhibit such gross behavior they must be told so in no uncertain terms.

Nonsense on all 3 counts. Freedom of speech potential being allowed to say what you want is fairly, no longer having human beings accept as true with something you say, or no longer having all people ever be indignant by potential of something you say. this isn't any longer any variety of authoritarian administration to, dunno, no longer pick to hearken to racist jokes. in case you've been imprisoned for it by potential of the authorities, you would have a level. i do not understand Ruth Perry, yet does no longer trust her or Wikipedia to be authoritative in this aspect. I keep in ideas the novel left interior the Nineteen Sixties, and not in any respect in uncomplicated words did we no longer use the time period "political correctness", yet in case you pay interest to previous speeches by potential of those radicals, you'll wince at their political incorrectness. The time period got here into primary use a lengthy time period later.

Political Correctness- the inability to state truth or ones opinion for fear of offending someone. The need to alter your vocabulary so as not to hurt anyones feelings.

The Constitution clearly says that we have freedom of speach. Where is it stated that we have freedom from being offended?

Political Correctness - Using speech in a polite and respectful manner.

Yes, we are responsible for what we say. Why wouldn't we be?

Political Correctness (a liberal policy) will ultimately destroy America. I don't care much anymore about what the PC police determine what is offensive to somebody or not. People just need to get over it. If people can get away with bashing Christians and conservatives then they need to brace themselves for the same thing in return.

Speaking of not being Politically Correct, as far as I'm concerned, Liberals can go to H-E-L-L!
