English the Language, or the country?
I lived in London when I was a child, little borough called South Ruislip. don't remember the neighbors or the neighborhood very well but the weather was always beastly. The one Bright Day I can remember, the salvationist sunday school took us all to Brighton beach. One of those three weeks in August when it isn't winter.
But if you only get questions from UK you would never meet fascinating people like me, now would you.?
as for the english language, I suppose you have noticed that many people who speak and write only English don't do it awfully well. It wouldn't do much good to set the browser to only English.

UK only when I'm at work. I'd get really bored really quickly otherwise, and as I'm on all day I don't mind Polls & Surveys being a bit slow either.
When home though, it's on All English questions. Which is an ironic name, as the English is lacking.

Speaking as a Yank, I will say that if all of you islanders had stuck constantly with the UK/Ireland setting, I'd have missed meeting some of my favorite (or is that favourite?-lol) people on Y!A and 360, and that would have been a shame.

I didn't know you could chose but maybe I'll change to all American b/c a lot of the UK folks get fairly irate if you "oops" answer one of their questions without realizing they are in another country. (and I only have seriously & with good intentions.)
