Do you mean MSN messagner???
if yes.......well its easy....... go to control panel and double click Add or Remove program.... and you will see a list of programs you installed.....
Scroll down and you will see msn messanger and remove it...
.
There is an old msn messanger installed with windows xp....
just delete the shortcuts from your desktop and start menue...
You might mess up your computer if you try to delete it from your My Program Files folder.

I'm guessing you have msn 4.7 which comes with Windows XP, as i had the same problem with mine.

First, make sure you have exited MSN messenger and uninstalled any MSN Messenger related entry from Control Panel (START —> CONTROL PANEL —> ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS).

Then, START —> RUN the following command:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Then reboot your computer
