the best to write song is from real life traumas some of the best songs have been writing through real life for example tears in heaven eric clapton was whriting through the loss of hos son a great song not nice circumstances but that is how a lot of songs are whriting but on the other side of the coin it could be a good thing that has happened in life hope this helps

As you go through your day, listen to what people are saying, even listen to peoples conversations and they can be turned into songs some times, even arguments can. Find old sayings or phrases, can be turned into songs.

i start with lyrics, mostly wen im upset or happy. look at everday life, your experienses and others peoples ones too. if its a sad song choose a minor key and maybe try to figure out sum cords. try and fit the words to beats then. good luck

I usually start with a line and just build on the first line from there
It doesnt matter if it rhymes as long as it comes from you and your happy with it.
